Two Separate Tracks
Both tracks were rebuilt and upgraded in 2022, and both get worked on between every event.
Plenty of the bikes in our pits come from Pell City and the rest of St. Clair County. Getting here is a morning drive, which turns a normal Saturday into a real ride day without eating the whole weekend in windshield time.
Straight-line distance. The map further down shows the real driving route and time from Pell City.
Solid day-trip territory. Plenty of riders in St. Clair County do exactly that: out in the morning, home that night.
Set your GPS to 4015 County Highway 35, Horton, AL 35980 and it will bring you straight to the gate. From Pell City you are heading generally north.
Our surface is Alabama red clay mixed with our own blend of wood shavings. It holds moisture through the day, keeps traction in the corners most tracks give up on, and does not bake flat by the second moto.
The single most important thing: check the schedule before you drive. We open on announced dates only, and if weather moves something we post it at the top of every page on this site.

The track is watered and ripped before gates open, and it gets worked through the day on race days.
The layout sits in an open field, so from most spots in the pits you can watch about 70 percent of the track. Parents love it.
The park is at 4015 County Highway 35 in Horton, Alabama, roughly 42 miles south of Pell City in a straight line. Because of the river and the lake, the road route can be noticeably longer - the map on this page shows the real driving distance and time from Pell City.
McLarty MX Park is the one most Pell City riders end up at. It is a comfortable morning drive away in Horton, with two prepped sandy loam tracks and announced race and practice days.
