This is not an experts-only track. Beginner classes like Youth D exist for a reason, and the layout is forgiving enough for a kid learning while still being big enough for A riders to hold it open.

How far is McLarty MX Park from Jasper, AL?
The park is at 4015 County Highway 35 in Horton, Alabama, roughly 56 miles southwest of Jasper in a straight line. Because of the river and the lake, the road route can be noticeably longer - the map on this page shows the real driving distance and time from Jasper.
Is there a motocross track near Jasper?
McLarty MX Park is the one most Jasper riders end up at. It is an easy day trip away in Horton, with two prepped sandy loam tracks and announced race and practice days.
Can I camp at the track?
Yes. Camping is welcome with no ground fires anywhere on the property. Front row RV spots with power and water hookups can be reserved by text.
Can spectators see the whole track?
Just about. The track sits in an open field, so from most spots in the pits you can see around seventy percent of the layout.
Are pit bikes allowed?
No. Pit bike riding is not permitted anywhere on the property. That rule gets enforced.
