If you are hunting for a motocross track near Marietta, McLarty MX Park is a couple of hours on the road away in Horton, Alabama. Close enough for most riders in Cobb County to load the bike after breakfast and still get a full day of laps.

Alabama red clay on its own goes greasy wet and concrete dry. Cut with wood shavings it does neither, which is how we keep a rideable surface from gates open to the last checkered flag.
This is not an experts-only track. Beginner classes like Youth D exist for a reason, and the layout is forgiving enough for a kid learning while still being big enough for A riders to hold it open.
