We prep before you roll in and keep working it through a race day. Combined with a surface that actually holds moisture, that means the track you ride at four o clock still resembles the one you rode at ten.

How Far Is It From Attalla?
You are practically a local. Riders this close treat a practice day the way most people treat going to the gym - hook up, ride, unhook, and still be home for supper.

How far is McLarty MX Park from Attalla, AL?
The park is at 4015 County Highway 35 in Horton, Alabama, roughly 21 miles southeast of Attalla in a straight line. Because of the river and the lake, the road route can be noticeably longer - the map on this page shows the real driving distance and time from Attalla.
Is there a motocross track near Attalla?
McLarty MX Park is the one most Attalla riders end up at. It is a comfortable morning drive away in Horton, with two prepped sandy loam tracks and announced race and practice days.

Can I camp at the track?
Yes. Camping is welcome with no ground fires anywhere on the property. Front row RV spots with power and water hookups can be reserved by text.
What happens if it rains?
Sandy loam drains well, so light rain often does not stop us. If weather does force a change, we post it at the top of every page on this website and on our Facebook page.
Do I need to sign up before I come?
No. There is no membership and no pre-registration. Sign in at the tower when you arrive and pay at the gate. Riders under 18 need a parent or legal guardian signature.
