Two Separate Tracks
Both tracks were rebuilt and upgraded in 2022, and both get worked on between every event.
McLarty MX Park sits in the little community of Horton, east of Tupelo. What you find at the end of the drive is two prepped sandy loam tracks that hold moisture instead of turning into a dust bowl by lunch.

Bring the family. From most spots in the pits you can watch something like seventy percent of the track, which is exactly what a parent wants when their nine year old is out there.

The layout sits in an open field, so from most spots in the pits you can watch about 70 percent of the track. Parents love it.
We prep before you roll in and keep working it through a race day. Combined with a surface that actually holds moisture, that means the track you ride at four o clock still resembles the one you rode at ten.
From Tupelo this is a genuine haul, so it is worth making a weekend of it. Camping is welcome at the park, and there are hotels fifteen to twenty five minutes away in Albertville and Guntersville.
Most riders from Tupelo come in via US-78 east toward Birmingham, then north. Put the address in your phone and it will take you the rest of the way.
We do not run every weekend, so the schedule page is the first stop. Everything we have on the books is posted there, along with any weather calls.
The park is at 4015 County Highway 35 in Horton, Alabama, roughly 132 miles west of Tupelo in a straight line. Because of the river and the lake, the road route can be noticeably longer - the map on this page shows the real driving distance and time from Tupelo.
